test161: Failed executing "git remote update origin"

The error shows up when trying to submit. I hit a

test161 config

to check my remote name and I use the same name.

Error: Cannot determine remote status: Failed executing command “git remote update origin”: exit status 1

Do you have a remote called master configured? Show the output of git remote -v.

Can you push and pull from this remote? I suspect it’s not set up properly.

Please make sure you have the correct access rights
and the repository exists.

I tried pulling and it gave me the same feedback. Does it matter that I am on a different branch than master?

Please review the instructions for setting up a GitHub repository using a public key. These are easily located online, and I think that Scott also linked to them.
