Cannot determine root directory from CWD

trinity@zion:~/shared/working/os161$ test161 run ASST2
Unable to execute command: test161 cannot determine your root directory from the CWD.

I keep getting this error when I try to run test161 run ASST2. I’ve done a bmake clean && bmake && bmake install inside ~/os161, I’ve also ran sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade and I’m pretty sure my test161 is up to date.

Output when I run apt-cache show test161:

P. S. I know my directory is in the shared folder. I have previously (and successfully) ran test161 and submitted assignments in that specific directory.

I think that we create this symlink when you build your kernel… not the userland tools.

How would I fix this error because test161 will not run? Thank you in advance.

Build your kernel.
